DATA WE PROCESS

Depending on how you use the website, Velyne Paris may process your contact details, shipping and billing addresses, order and return information, customer-service communications, technical connection data, browsing events and consent preferences. Full payment-card details are processed by payment providers and are not disclosed to Velyne Paris.

PURPOSES AND LEGAL BASES

Data is processed to perform orders and after-sales service, comply with legal and accounting obligations, prevent fraud, secure and reasonably improve the store and, where consent is required, measure audiences, personalise the experience and send communications or advertising.

RECIPIENTS AND PROCESSORS

Only the data required for the relevant purpose is shared with providers involved in that purpose:

• Shopify, for hosting, payment processing, store administration and order management;
• payment and fraud-prevention providers;
• EPROLO and the relevant carriers, for sourcing, direct shipping, tracking, returns and after-sales service;
• Google, through the Google & YouTube channel, Merchant Center, Google Ads and enabled measurement services, for catalogues, measurement and advertising in accordance with applicable settings and consent;
• Meta, including the Meta pixel and Conversions API, to measure visits, product views, additions to cart, checkout starts and purchases, and to assess advertising in accordance with applicable settings and consent;
• Weglot, for translation and the technical data strictly necessary to operate the multilingual website;
• customer-service, technical and professional advisers bound by confidentiality obligations; and
• legally authorised public authorities where required by law.

For a directly shipped order, the logistics partner receives in particular the name, delivery address, necessary contact details and order contents. Those data may be used only to process the order and related services.

ADVERTISING MEASUREMENT AND SHOPIFY SERVICES

Depending on your interaction and applicable consent, Google or Meta may receive event, device and connection information, as well as pseudonymised contact details used for matching. Shopify Network Intelligence may use data from this store together with data from other stores to improve its services, personalisation and advertising, subject to applicable settings. Some advertising disclosures may qualify as a “sale” or “sharing” under the laws of certain countries or US states; available opt-out controls can be accessed through the privacy preferences.

INTERNATIONAL TRANSFERS

Some providers may process data outside the European Economic Area. Where required, these transfers are protected by an adequacy decision, standard contractual clauses or another safeguard recognised under the GDPR.

RETENTION PERIODS

Order data and accounting records are retained for the applicable statutory periods, including ten years for accounting documents. Customer-service communications are retained for as long as necessary to handle the request and establish legal rights. Marketing data is deleted when you unsubscribe or no later than three years after the last interaction, unless a legal or evidence-retention requirement applies. Trackers are retained for the periods defined by the consent tool and applicable rules.

YOUR RIGHTS

You may request access, correction, erasure, restriction, portability or objection, and withdraw consent at any time, using the Velyne Paris contact form or contact@velyneparis.fr. Proportionate identity verification may be requested. You may also lodge a complaint with the French data-protection authority at cnil.fr.
